FAQ-1120 I merged multiple licenses on one server but the total license number is not correct, or Origin cannot connect to the server. What should I do?

If you have multiple license files (different serial numbers) and merged them into one file to manage all on one server, you may encounter following problems::

  • The available licenses read from the merged server does not match the total number of all these license files.
  • Origin clients installed with one of these serial numbers cannot connect to the server. They will see an error message saying:
    Your FLEXlm license file does not match your OriginLab serial number

  • When you check the log file on the license server, you will see something like the following
    UNSUPPORTED: "OriginPro" (0254 3D02 14A6 DBCA )
    ClientName (No such feature exists. (-5,346)

Please contact OriginLab for a correct license file. Please include all the serial numbers and the corresponding license files you need to merge in the ticket.
