5.37 FAQ-738 What can I do if Origin runs slowly in a virtual machine on a Mac?Virtual-Machine-is-Slow-on-Mac
Last Update: 1/4/2017
Please consider installing and running Windows via Boot Camp. This enables you to run Windows at native speed, i.e. Windows applications can fully take advantage of the Mac hardware.
Alternatively you can consider adjusting the configuration of the virtual machine according to the recommended system requirements of the Windows OS (Vista/7/8/10)
As well, your virtual machine software vendor may provide options to improve VM performance. Please consult your vendor's documentation to determine which settings can help improve performance
Note: If you find that Origin is beginning to run slowly while running in Windows in a virtual machine on a Mac, try to completely shut down Windows (not merely suspend it). Then restart Windows and check Origin's performance.
