To calculate the parameter $q$ in a complex equation $K=f(q)$ , you can first translate the equation into this form

$Y=f(q)-K$ ,

and then calculate the $q$ value when $Y=0$ . You must have some thoughts of the area in which $q$ locates, from $a$ to $b$ for example. Use the Set Values tool to calculate Y values when $a\leq q \leq b$ . Then use levelcrossing or Intersect gadget to find the the exact $q$ value that makes $Y=0$ .
