25.2 Mathematica Link

The Origin® Link for Mathematica® tool provides access to Mathematica from within Origin. The tool allows the Origin user to exchange worksheet and matrix data between Origin and Mathematica, to evaluate Mathematica expressions, and to create Origin graphs using Mathematica functions.

To utilize the tool from Origin, you'd better have Mathematica version 8 or higher (minimum support version is 4.2) installed on your computer either as a local or network copy.

Notes: From version 2017, Origin can communicate with individual instance of Mathematica directly. In version 2016 and earlier versions, however, Origin can only communicate with a Mathematica Kernel that is launched when this tool is invoked. Origin will not directly communicate with an instance of the Mathematica that is launched directly.
