Description:
The graph shows the distribution of nanohardness along the cross-section of cold worked 316L austenitic stainless steel in the area under the surface. Using this technique it was shown that the hardenning of the subsurface layer occurs during the sheet production. The nanohardness was measured as a map of about 55x250 microns with a step of 10x5 um. This CSV file contains coordinates of the indents (X and Y) and hardness values (H). The rotation of the matrix was made and the countour map was created using 10 major levels and 10 minor ones. Black dots show the position of the indents. Also the groups of indents were distinguished according to their Y coordinate and the Y(H) dependance was evaluated.
