PURPOSE
This app can be used to read screen coordinates on the graph.
INSTALLATION
This App is pre-installed in Origin. Make a graph window active. Click the Graph Annotator icon in the Apps Gallery window to launch it.
If it is not listed in the Apps Gallery window, download the file Graph Annotator.opx, and then drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps Gallery window.
OPERATION
- Make a graph window active. Click the Graph Annotator icon in the Apps Gallery window. A dialog will open.
- In the opened dialog, click Settings button, choose Add Data Mode, three options are available, Append, Append With Gap and Start New Sheet. The second option will insert a row with missing values to separate new data.
- Click Start button, double click on the graph to select points in the graph. Click Worksheet button to switch to the worksheet for points. Click Reset button to remove added points. Click Finish button to close the dialog.
NOTE
After this app is installed, click Draw Data button in Tools toolbar, and it can also launch this app.
