New worksheet, add 2 columns, fill all with random data, plot scatter
right click legend to uncheck "Show Legend for visible plot only" from legend fly-out
Hold CTRL, select the border of legend, and drag to rearrange.
Double click the symbol to open PD dialog. Click OK to close it.
double click legend to enter edit mode. Select the middle part of legend entry and press Delete key to delete it.
