Description:

  • Purpose
    This app can be used to generate random data based on specified distribution and parameter, or patterned data.
  • installation
    Download the file "Data Factory.opx", and then drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps gallery window.
  • Operation
    Click the app icon, a dialog pops up for settings.
    1. Open Column Browser: Open a column picker dialog to choose target column
    2. << and >>: Jump to the previous/next column
    3. Specify parameters as needed, for the distribution/pattern data
    4. Preview graph for random distribution. What you see is what you will get.
    5. Fill Column: Apply the current setting to target column

05/08/2020Snowbird8When I click “Distribution Type” or “Fill Colunm” button，the 'An error has occurred in the script of this page' is reported. Then, the program doesn't respond, and I can't get any data.(Note: my browser is ie11, and the operating system is win 10.)
